FOHSEN is at the forefront of strengthening health systems in Senegal by building a professional network of community health workers (CHWs). Selected from their own communities, these workers receive rigorous training to address everyday health needs effectively. Supported, compensated, and well-equipped, they are the backbone of sustainable health solutions, focusing on maternal, neonatal, and child healthcare.
Our Key Indicators:
Response Time : Assesses the responsiveness of FOHSEN CHWs in handling emergencies within our proactive care framework, specifically through FOHSEN's 72-hour response model.
At Home Visits: Measures the total number of home visits carried out by CHWs. This highlights the reach and frequency of community health support.
Digitally Empowered CHWs: Indicates the total number of CHWs equipped with digital tools and training to enhance service delivery.
